I’m Christina.

I write poetry, fiction, and often something in between. My writing tends to live in and explore liminal spaces—between friendship and family, between human and non-human life. I write a lot about grief too (some of which is on my Substack).

I host almost-monthly gatherings in Los Angeles centered around reading, writing, nature, and food. Events range from poetry picnics to guided hiking + writing sessions. My favorite recent event was on Poem in Your Pocket Day. We decorated our favorite poems over pizza and wine in a beautiful garden and then handed these poems out to strangers and started all sorts of wonderful conversations and connections. That’s really what every gathering is about. Reconnecting with each other, and nature, and ourselves. If that sounds like your idea of fun, I’d love for you to join.
